This tour was designed for those who wish to immerse in the Moroccan culture and culinary experience and still enjoy the beautiful roads of the Atlas. On this tour we will visit the imperial cities of Meknes and Marrakech and the town of Ouarzazat known as the cinema capital of the country. We will ride through varied and amazing landscapes including the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass and the roads of the desert. This adventure will provide a unique and unforgettable experience about Morocco’s heritage.
Day 1 : Arrival
Arrival to Casablanca. Transfer to your hotel, where you will be able to settle in and relax by the pool to prepare for your trip the next morning. You will meet your tour guide and go through a short briefing session as well as the formalities required before the start and you will receive your welcome pack.
Day 2 : Casablanca – Meknès (approx. 300 km)
You will be transferred to our workshop and receive your BMW bikes early in the morning before starting our journey towards Meknes. We will head towards Rabat on normal roads to warm up so you can get used to your bike as well as local driving habits before turning East to tackle the winding mountain roads that will provide an excellent insight to the great riding Morocco has to offer. Our stop for the night will be in a fine hotel in the center of the city where we will have the opportunity for a tour in the old medina and get a taste of Moroccan food.
Day 3: Meknès – Midelt (approx. 190 km)
After breakfast we’ll start our ascent of the Middle-Atlas and will have our first stop at one of the mountain passes around Azrou where you will have plenty of opportunities to feed the monkeys that live in the cedar forests of the area.
Our road to Midelt will change between twisting mountain passes and long straights while we cross the high plateau of the mountain range.
Day 4: Midelt – Errachidia (approx. 140 km)
We will continue our motorcycle journey on a perfect road towards Errachidia on the other side of the mountains. You will thoroughly enjoy the mountain roads that take us to the door of the desert. On our way we will cross the tunnel built by the French Foreign Legion and there will be plenty of opportunities for photo stops.
Day 5: Errachidia – Boumalne de Dades (approx. 190 km)
Today we will ride at the foot of the Atlas with the mountain range on one side and the desert on the other. We will make a detour at the town of Tinghir to the Todgha gorge and ride through the pass beneath the huge cliffs. After some photos and an excellent lunch made from home-grown vegetables at a local restaurant we will continue to our hotel in the Dadès valley where you will have the opportunity to relax at the pool or in the Spa and we will enjoy the sunset behind the mountain range from the terrace.
Day 6: Boumalne de Dades – Ouarzazate (approx. 180 km)
Despite the short daily distance, the riding will be exceptional. We will start our day by climbing the most photographed hairpins in Morocco in the Dades valley. A relatively short bike ride will take us to our lodging for this evening where you can enjoy a drink by the pool while taking in the wonderful sight of the lake. In the afternoon we’ll head to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, where many epic movies were filmed. On our way back you will have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah of Ouarzazate and wonder around the many local souvenir shops.
Day 7: Ouarzazte – Marrakesh (approx. 200 km)
Another wonderful touring day awaits us full of twists and turns, combines with beautiful surroundings as we climb the High Atlas through the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass. There will be plenty of opportunities to take in the view. We will be arriving early afternoon to our comfortable hotel in Marrakech before heading to the city to explore the medina with its souks and the vibrant Jamaa el Fna place with its snake charmers and food stalls.
Day 8: Marrakesh – Casablanca (approx. 260 km)
Our last motorcycle adventure tour day will start in the afternoon, so you will still have plenty of time to relax by the pool or enjoy a SPA/Hammam treatment in the hotel. We will arrive back to our HQ in the evening to return the bikes before your transfer to the hotel.
Day 9: Departure
Depending on your flight time, you might take the opportunity to relax or visit the city before the arranged pick-up takes you to the airport.
